    1. What happens if I make a booking and then do not confirm or pay?

    When you make an airline booking, we can hold the booking for a limited period of time, which depends on the availability of the flight and the airline. If we have not received confirmation from you after two emails or faxes, we will automatically cancel the booking.
    If you confirm the booking but arrange to issue and pay the ticket later, we will inform you of the deadline for payment. If you do not make payment before this deadline, the booking will be automatically cancelled.

    2. Why are the prices not guaranteed for my booked air itinerary?

    The airline reserves the rights to change the fares at any time, and taxes and airport fees can also be changed at any time. We will inform you of the fare at the time that you inquire about the booking, but the fare is not guaranteed until the time that you issue the ticket.

    3. Do you have electronic air tickets?

    Most of the airlines are using electronic tickets except for some special routings so we can email or fax the tickets to the customer after issuing.

    4. What if need to cancel or change my itinerary?

    If you need to make changes or cancel your itinerary, please contact a customer service representative directly. Charges will depend on the policies of the airline with which you are booked. We will inform the cancellation policy of the airline before you purchase your tickets.

    5. When do I need to pay?

    All airline tickets must be paid for before or at the time of delivery of the ticket.
    Some airline carriers allow us to hold bookings for a limited period of time before paying for the ticket and issuing it.
    Your credit card will not be billed until we confirm availability of the flights and confirm that you would like to purchase and issue the ticket.

    6. How can I book a domestic or an international airline flight?

    Currently, we cannot check availability of these flights online. To inquire about a flight, please inquire online with our online support or send us an email at info@vietravel-vn.com, or by phone at our hotline as shown.

    1. Do children stay for free?

    Our room prices are based on nightly double occupancy. Kids under twelve usually stay for free if sharing bed with parents. Almost hotels and resorts accept maximum of 1 kid stay in parents' bed and breakfast for kids under 12 years is 50% of adult's prices.

    2. Your rates are per person per night?

    No, our rates is per room per night.

    3. When are compulsory meals and surcharges applied?

    Customers are kindly requested to pay for surcharges as well as compulsory dinners on Christmas, New Year and Vietnamese New Year (Tet).

    4. How can I request for an early check-in or late check-out time?

    Early check-in or late check-out be requested directly with the hotel. Extra charges might be applied.

    5. What does your hotel price include?

    The hotel prices on our website include all tax and service charge. However room rate may include or exclude breakfast depending on hotel policy.

    6. How do I receive the hotel confirmation?

    After we have confirmed the availability of the hotel, we will fax or email you final confirmation. 

    7. What if need to cancel or change my reservation?

    If you need to make changes or cancel your itinerary, please contact a customer service representative directly.
    Charges will depend on the policies of the hotel.

    8. When do I need to pay? Do I need to pay in advance or can I pay at hotel?

    Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer the ability to pay at the hotel. All hotel reservations must be paid in advance and immediately after booking the hotel. We cannot hold hotel bookings without payment.
    If you are paying by credit card online, your credit card will not be billed until we confirm the availability of the hotel.
    If you would prefer to pay by cash or bank transfer within Vietnam, we will confirm the availability of the hotel with you and make arrangements for payment.

    9. Can you provide me a list of hotels we are staying at?

    We are only able to provide information on your joining and finish point hotels, the details of which are listed in your Details | Accommodation.
    As Tour-asia.net likes to support numerous local businesses, we often have a few hotels in each city that we can alternate our groups between. For this reason, we can’t give you a full hotel list before you travel.  At the welcome meeting on Day 1, your leader may be able to provide you with this so you can email friends and family back home with the details.

    10. Are hotels air-conditioned?

    We want our passengers to be as comfy as possible so when you are headed to a hot climate, it is likely that you will either have a fan or air-con. Of course, if you are staying in remote areas or at home-stays, you will need to expect the facilities to be a little more basic.

    11. How can I book a hotel room?

    Simply select the hotel in which you would like to stay (or email or call us with your requests and we will make recommendations). Once you have selected a hotel, proceed with “Booking” and please fill out all customer information, as well as any special requests.
    We will confirm the availability of the hotel.

    12. What standards of hotels should I expect?

    The standard of hotel depends on the package you have chosen. Basic accommodation is Standard (3 stars), Superior (4 stars) and Deluxe hotels (5 stars).

    1. What if I have problems with the tours?

    We have selected the best suppliers in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos, and we continue to gather feedback from customers in order to review the quality of these tours, in order to keep problems and issues to a minimum.
    If you have a complaint or issue with a tour that you purchase from us, however, we encourage you to bring it to our attention as quickly as possible so that we can work with both you and our suppliers to address your issue or concern directly.

    2. Do children receive discounted rates?

    Yes, we are a friendly children company, children enjoy discount from us. Under 2 years: free of charge. 2-<12 years without bed: 50 % of adult price. 2-<12 years with extra bed: 85 % of adult price. 2-<12 years in twin share: 90 % of adult price.

    3. Are there any hidden cost you do not mention? What about tipping?

    No, all inclusions and exclusions are mentioned at our final confirmation for your trip. It is customary, though not compulsory, to tip tour guides and drivers at the end of tours. Hotel porters and restaurant waiters should also be tipped.

    4. What if I have special needs for the tour?

    If you have special requirements – for example, if you have a large group or young children, if you are handicapped or have physical limitations, if you have special transportation needs, or if you are vegetarian or have other food allergies – please let us know, and we can work with both you and our suppliers to ensure that we can meet your needs.

    5. What if need to cancel or change my itinerary?

    You’re allowed to change your dates, if needed, at no additional cost as long as you give sufficient advance notice and availability exists.
    Cancellations of the tours usually involve a cancellation fee, which depends on how far in advance that you cancel. Please inquire directly for the change or cancellation policy for any particular tour!

    6. How do I book and pay for a tour?

    Once you have found a tour that you would like to book, please click on “Booking” and fill in your booking details (the dates that you would like to go, the number of people, any special requests). Once we confirm the availability, we will send you an email to confirm and a link for secure online credit card payment.

    7. How can I trust the quality of the tours that I buy from Vietravel?

    1. Can I get the package refunded if I cancel my trip after issuing the package?

    It depends on the conditions of the packages that are given by the airline, however, the refund may be subject to refund fee or even not permitted.

    2. How long before departure do I have to pay for the package?

    Our package usually requires 3-9 days advance purchase.

    3. What is the maximum stay for this package? Can I extend my stay?

    Yes, you can definitely extend your stay. Extra night surcharges are specified in each package.

    4. How long is this package valid for?

    Please refer to the validity dates of each specific package and please note that the validity dates are usually for a short time with restrictions on ticket issuing deadline and travel period.

    - We receive cash payment when you purchase services at our office in Vietnam.
    - For customers who purchase services on our website, we accept payment by credit card.
    - In case customers who purchase customized services we accept  payment by credit card and bank transfer.
    Credit Card: You provide us your credit card details. Our bank will inform you in advance of purchase of any credit card fees that may apply. Confirmation will be sent after payment.
    Bank transfer: Bank transfers can be made from your bank account abroad. We will provide you with our banking details at the time of confirmation of the booking.

    2. Which credit cards do you accept?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB cards, Diners Clup International.

    3. What currency are your prices displayed in?

    Unless marked clearly otherwise, all of the prices displayed on our website are in VND.

    1. How do I find out about the visa requirements for the trip I am interested in?

    While we do include information in our Travel Guide about visa requirements, we always recommend that passengers check with their local embassy as visa rules can change without warning. We provide address and contact number as well as emails in details of available embassy in Vietnam. Embassy websites in your home country will always have information about requirements, visa costs and will provide the required forms. If you are uncomfortable with the visa process, you can contact a local travel agent who can arrange these for you at a cost.

    2. How do I organize my Visa?

    Please contact the relevant local embassy, or visit a local travel agent, to organize your visa/s.

    3. Do you help with Visas?

    There are certain destinations, such as Central Asia and Iran, where you will need support documentation from Tour-asia.net in order to apply for your visa.  The ‘visa section’ of you “Entry Visa” will include information about what you need to send to us (scanned passports, employment letters etc.). Tour-asia.net have service in the actual application of visas, but you also can do this through the embassy or with the support of a local travel agent.

    2. How safe are my belongings whilst on the trip?

    While we take all the precautions we can to make sure your belongings are safe, we are travelling to some exciting destinations that are sometimes home to some pretty skilled thieves. Travel insurance is a must and a lockable bag or money belt will always help too.

    3. What is the best way to carry money?

    We recommend having access to money from a variety of sources – cash, cards and travel money cards are all commonly used. Check your Travel Tips and the relevant Destination Page (on our website) for more country-specific information.

    4. Will refrigeration be available for medicines? eg. Insulin

    Availability of refrigeration cannot be guaranteed. As a general rule, many of our city hotels provide access to small fridges; however, outside of this, especially when trekking, biking or in home-stay environments, you cannot rely on access to refrigeration. Please be sure to advise Tour-asia.net if you are travelling with medication that requires refrigeration.
